Christ does not force our will, He only takes what we give Him. But He does not give Himself entirely until He sees that we yield ourselves entirely to Him.
Who except God can give you peace? Has the world ever been able to satisfy the heart?
Attribute to God every good that you have received. If you take credit for something that does not belong to you, you will be guilty of theft.
What does it cost us to say: “My God help me! Have mercy on me!” Is there anything easier than this? And this little will suffice to save us if we be diligent in doing it.
